Who is SCIMIOTOSOUND?
SCIMIOTOSOUND is an independent music and visual project built on a simple idea: creativity shouldn't need permission from any genre.
With a background in radio and theatre, its creator brings a feel for sound, timing, atmosphere and storytelling to a project that moves freely between musical styles—from Latin grooves, Afro House and playful, ironic pop to ambient electronics and orchestral influences.
Each release is its own little universe, where music, visual storytelling and experimentation come together without following a fixed formula.
The Philosophy
SCIMIOTOSOUND wasn't created to chase trends or fit neatly into a corner of the music industry. It grew out of curiosity: the desire to explore different musical languages, combine unexpected influences and tell stories in original ways.
At the heart of the project is a monkey—not just a logo, but a symbol of curiosity, mischief and the absurdities of everyday life. A playful way to hold up a mirror to us humans, with all our contradictions, ambitions and occasional lack of common sense.
Sometimes the stories are surreal, sometimes they're heartfelt, and often they're both. In The Sweetest Prize, for example, two monkeys tell a very human love story: the most precious gift isn't the most expensive one, but what we give with sincerity, along with the willingness to share, protect and care for someone.
